Your Guide to Mastering Your Moddy’s Watch

Congratulations on your new Moddy’s timepiece. Below you’ll find a short video and step-by-step guide tailored specifically to your model.

Whether you’re setting the time, resizing the strap, or exploring advanced features, follow along and you’ll have your watch ready in minutes.

WHAT IS AN AUTOMATIC WATCH

Welcome to your Moddy’s watch. This is a mechanical timepiece, built with precision and designed to last.

Many of our models are automatic watches, which means they don’t use a battery, they’re powered by the movement of your wrist.

If left unworn for a couple of days, the watch may stop. That’s normal. You can start it again by winding it manually or simply wearing it.

How to Wind

1. Lift the crown guard lever to release the crown.

2. In the closed position, turn the crown clockwise 30–40 times until you feel slight resistance.

3. Gently shake the watch to activate the rotor.

4. Push the crown back in and lock the crown guard lever securely.

How to Set Date & Time

1. Lift the crown guard lever to release the crown.

2. Pull the crown to the first click → Set the date (turn clockwise).

3. Pull the crown to the second click → Set the time (turn clockwise).

⚠️ Avoid changing the date between 8 PM and 4 AM.

4. Push the crown back in and lock the crown guard lever securely.

How to Use Clasp

Pin Buckle
Slide the strap through the buckle, insert the pin into the desired hole, and secure by tucking the strap into the keeper loop.

Resizing the Bracelet

The Paneiko strap adjusts using the pin buckle system.

Select the hole that gives the best fit, then insert the pin through it to secure the strap.

For a tighter or looser fit, move the pin to a different hole.

Tuck the remaining strap into the keeper loop so it stays in place.

For a permanent size adjustment, the strap can be changed to a shorter or longer length.

You’re now ready to enjoy your Moddy’s watch. Follow these steps for setup, adjustment, and care, and your timepiece will keep ticking for years.
