Your Guide to Mastering Your Moddy’s Watch

Congratulations on your new Moddy’s timepiece. Below you’ll find a short video and step-by-step guide tailored specifically to your model.

Whether you’re setting the time, resizing the strap, or exploring advanced features, follow along and you’ll have your watch ready in minutes.

WHAT IS AN AUTOMATIC WATCH

Welcome to your Moddy’s watch. This is a mechanical timepiece, built with precision and designed to last.

Many of our models are automatic watches, which means they don’t use a battery, they’re powered by the movement of your wrist.

If left unworn for a couple of days, the watch may stop. That’s normal. You can start it again by winding it manually or simply wearing it.

How to Wind

1. Unscrew the crown counterclockwise until it pops out.

2. In the closed position, turn it clockwise 30–40 times until you feel slight resistance.

3. Gently shake to activate the rotor.

4. Push in and screw the crown tight again.

How to Set Date & Time

1. Unscrew the crown.

2. First click → Set date (clockwise).

3. Second click → Set time (clockwise).

⚠️ Avoid changing the date between 8 PM and 4 AM.

4. Push the crown back in and screw it tight.

How to Use Clasp

Butterfly Clasp
Open the clasp protector, push both release buttons to open. Close by pressing both sides until they click.

How to Use Bezel

Rotating Bezel

The rotating bezel is designed to measure elapsed time with ease. Simply turn it counterclockwise and align the triangle marker with the minute hand. As time passes, the bezel lets you track the elapsed minutes at a glance. Because it only turns one way, it ensures diving safety by preventing accidental extensions of dive time. Beyond diving, it’s also perfect for everyday use. Timing workouts, cooking, or any activity that needs precise tracking.

Resizing the Bracelet

Bracelet links are held together with small pins that can be removed using the black strap pusher tool provided.

Place the bracelet in the holder so the arrow on the back of the link points away from the pusher.

Gently push the pin out in the direction of the arrow using the pusher tool.

Remove or add the desired number of links, keeping the adjustment balanced on both sides of the clasp so it stays centered.

Reinsert the pin from the opposite direction of the arrow and press it back into place until it’s flush with the link.

You’re now ready to enjoy your Moddy’s watch. Follow these steps for setup, adjustment, and care, and your timepiece will keep ticking for years.
